Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually
The Lord hath comforted his people,
and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
5 For this is what the LORD says: “Do not enter a house where there is a funeral meal; do not go to mourn or show sympathy, because I have withdrawn my blessing, my love and my pity from this people,”
declares the LORD.
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted.
But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
Blessed are ye that weep now for ye shall laugh
O Lord my God, I cried unto thee,
and thou hast healed me.
8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to
be away from the body and at
home with the Lord.
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
